Hello, my name is Robert, but you can call me Robbie. I am the owner and admin of this community/project. I have five college degrees in social sciences which I am considered as a major geek. My associate degrees are in sociology, psychology, and social and behavioral science. My bachelor's degree is in sociology and my master's degree is in sociology with an emphasis on education. My career dream is to be an educator. Although I spend a lot of my time analyzing the social world, I love computers and web development as a hobby. Yes, I created the comps and plan to develop more. When I have time, I do hope to coordinate some games and events because a healthy community include the involvement of the owner. :)

How to Host an ORG

  1. Decide a platform you will host your game.
    1. Tengaged offers excellent features such as polls, forums, content management that is easy to use.
    2. A popular option that can be challenging is creating your own Discord server. We will provide tips and tricks in the future in detail to help new users create their own server in the future. Want to contribute? Let Socialize know.
  2. Once you found a platform you are comfortable using, start planning your game in advance using Google products such as Google Docs and Google Sheets. Use the following questions to help make the planning process easier:
    1. What will your ORG format be based on? You can be as creative as possible. Many users adapt their format from shows such as Big Brother and Survivor. The idea is that only one person should win your game while others eliminated one by one.
    2. How many players does your game require?
    3. Create a tentative calendar that schedules the flow of your game. (We will provide a template soon). For example, Mondays will be the HOH comp. Wednesdays nominations are due, Fridays the POV comp is due, and Sundays are eviction voting. Having a schedule that allows flexibility and a time frame is key are successful games.
    4. What kind of twists do you have planned? Some users may add a double eviction at the Final 7. Some users may assign a secret mission to give a user an advantage. These twists are up to your creativity. These help make the game less predictable. However, plans twist ahead of time to prevent being accused of rigging the game.
    5. Do you need a production team? Does your game require judges or a co-host to help the game function?
    6. Reflect on any other aspect that may be needed to finalize your planning.
  3. Once you completed your planning, start recruiting users to play your ORG! There are numerous communities you can promote your game:
    1. You can post your ad on TV Game Studio of course!
      1. Please submit an application here in order to qualify for your own category to organize your posts on our website and to reward your player's prize points.
    2. You can create a blog on Tengaged.
    3. If a discord server you are a member of allows it, you can promote an ad in their respective channel.
    4. Some subreddits on Reddit allow ORG recruitment.
  4. Do not forget to mention our community and possible way to become famous with winning points to enter our Hall of Fame!
  5. Once you have enough players, you can start your game. Make sure to keep the community updated with announcements and gossip of what is happening in your game.
  6. Once your game is finished, please submit a prize request (only mod-approved games) [link soon] to help the admin reward points to players. Please allow up to 14 days for points to be rewarded to your hosts/players.
    1. If your application was denied, but was successfully completed. We may grant exceptions and reward point prizes. However, it is subjected to application review and why it was denied.
